Albany County COVID-19 Vaccination Updates
Run Dates: February 17 through February 24, 2021
This public service announcement is provided by Albany County Public Health to provide current information on the status of COVID-19 vaccination efforts in our community.
Individuals within Phase 1b, priority group 4-6 are now able to schedule their vaccination appointment. Individuals within these groups include:
people who are 65 – 69 years of age;
behavioral health providers;
social workers unable to physically distance;
K-12 education (teachers and other school district staff);
adult daycare providers.
• Individuals within all prior phases are still able to schedule vaccination appointments.
Please call (307) 766-8222 to your vaccination appointment unless it has already been scheduled through your place of employment.
With current vaccine supply, it is anticipated that individuals within Phase 1b, priority groups 4-6 will continue to be the focus of vaccination efforts for the remainder of February. As Albany County receives additional vaccine supply, vaccination efforts will be expanded to the remaining priority groups within Phase 1b.
Individuals who are not included in Phase 1b subgroup 4-6, should sign-up for My Health Connection at https://www.ivinsonhospital.org/portal. The My Health Connection is Ivinson Memorial Hospital’s patient portal where registered participants will receive local vaccine updates. If you already have a My Health Connection account, you are on the Albany County Vaccination list.
Walmart and Pole Mountain Pharmacies have received a limited supply of COVID-19 vaccines. Walmart is following federal distribution guidelines visit https://corporate.walmart.com/covid-vaccine for more information.
