2022 marks the 105th year of Girl Scouts selling Cookies and 110 years of Girl Scouting! The Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest girl-only, girl-led business in the world.

Girl Scouts will take pre-orders for cookies February 4-20th (with delivery in mid to late March) • Order online through April for delivery by a Girl Scout in March and April OR pay additional shipping for direct delivery in approximately a week or two. Girl Scouts Cookie Booths begin March 25th.

Girl Scouts of Montana and Wyoming now has NINE varieties to choose from thanks to the addition of a new cookie variety called Adventurefuls. Adventurefuls is a brownie-inspired cookie with caramel flavored crème and a hint of sea salt. In addition to Adventurefuls, Girls Scouts will also be selling Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs, Do-si dos, Trefoils, Lemon-Ups, gluten free Toffee-tastics, and Girl Scout S’mores™

Girl Scout Cookies in Montana and Wyoming will sell for $4 per package with the exception of our specialty cookies, the S’mores and gluten-free Toffee-tastics, which sell for $5 per package • Despite consumer prices rising 7% last year in 2021, GSMW will not raise its cookie prices for 2022 (the council has not raised its cookies prices since 2013).

The Girl Scout Cookie Program teaches girls financial literacy—and yes, they earn badges • The program helps develop five essential skills—goal setting, decision making, money management, people skills, and business ethics. All of the revenue earned from cookie sales – every penny after paying the baker – stays with the local troops and council.

Girls decide how to spend their troop cookie money and reinvest it in their neighborhoods through service projects and learning experiences, including travel.

Thin Mint cookies are the most popular Girl Scout Cookie across Montana and Wyoming with Samoas a close second; Samoas and Thin Mints are generally the top two cookies in the USA. • Famous Girl Scouts include Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Sheryl Crow, Halle Berry, Reese Witherspoon, Dakota Fanning, Queen Latifah, Barbara Walters, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton • Our baker, Little Brownie, bakes over 4.9 million Thin Mints per day during peak baking times • Little Brownie Baker makes its own caramel for Samoas. It’s cooked the old fashioned way in copper kettles and heated to exactly 234 degrees.

To bake Do-si-dos and Tagalongs, they use 230-thousand pounds of peanut butter per week
