The Mullen Fire has impacted all of us in Laramie, in small ways and life-changing ways. I feel awful for the people whose homes and cabins have been affected. Yet I have also loved seeing all the posts from various people on Facebook offering their land or stables for evacuated animals. I had the opportunity to help the Red Cross put together meals for evacuees at my church and there were so many people there helping that we were getting in each other’s way. It’s nice to be reminded that there are good people in the world, and many of them right here in Laramie.
