Meet the 7 dogs that were dumped in the middle of nowhere (more than 20 miles outside of town). There is a 8th dog that LAWS are also attempting to trap and bring to safety.
These poor kids were running terrified between the railroad tracks and a busy highway. Two of LAWS dedicated volunteers went out and were able to catch 7 small breed dogs and are monitoring the area in case there are others.
They are all settling in and will get their initial vaccinations then will be ready to place into foster homes. LAWS had a couple of wonderful volunteers step up to foster but they are still needing to place 5 more. If you have a nice quiet home and time and love to give please fill out a foster application. These dogs are not available for adoption at this time.
