Winter Lights Festival at Washington Park

Browse By

Tough Guys Holiday Lights is hosting a free walking tour of lights at Washington Park. It will follow the walking path including the playgrounds and loop back on itself. The event will include 29 specially selected trees with unique light displays, 3 large light displays, 2 tunnels of lights, one as you enter and one as you exit.

On Fridays and Saturdays: There will be a place for local organizations and businesses to sell treats and drinks, before walking the path. At the end, there will be a food truck for that selected weekend.

The goal is to create a walking outdoor lights display for all Laramie citizens and visitors to enjoy community involvement, nature, wonder, and festivities while raising money for local charities.

Every display will be sponsored by a local business and each business will be recognized with a sign at their display and throughout social media. Money raised from this event will go to local organizations. The goal is to raise a minimum of $6000 to be equally distributed to each organization.

The lights display will start on Friday November 25th, at 6pm with a “Grand Opening”. The lights will be on at the Park seven days a week, from 4pm to 9pm. There will be food, drinks, and music on Fridays and Saturdays through Christmas. The light display will continue through the first week of 2023.

The location of this event is at Washington Park, between Otto Dahl and Shelter #1, on the Sheridan Street side of the park and will be able to be viewable from all around.
