Shop with a Cop: Laramie Police Spread Joy with Holiday Shopping for Kids

Browse By

The Laramie Police Department is excited to host Shop with a Cop on December 19th, bringing holiday cheer to the community. Partnering with the Albany County School District, 30 kids are selected and paired with officers from various agencies for a $150 shopping spree at Wal-Mart. The experience includes meaningful conversations, laughter, and a patrol car ride.

LPD Sergeant Craig Lenhardt highlights the positive impact, changing the narrative for officers and kids. Wyoming Hunger Initiative, through the Laramie Police Department Foundation, teams up with Wal-Mart to provide a Christmas meal, with the Laramie Hilton Garden Inn donating 30 hams. Sergeant Lenhardt expresses gratitude for the collaborative community effort, acknowledging contributors like Wal-Mart’s $2,500 donation for Shop with a Cop.
