Sunday, Feb.4 kicks off the holiday of love with all things weddings. The 2024 Laramie Sweetheart Bridal Expo, hosted by Wyoming Weddings, is set to kick off at noon and go until 4pm at the Hilton Garden Inn. This event has been going on for over 25 years. This expo is one of five that are put on by Wyoming Weddings in Wyoming throughout the months of January and February every year. This event is free for all to attend, in hopes to bring inspiration to everyone. “The event will allow brides to meet vendors, get inspiration, watch fashion shows and win door prizes.” Said Kati Hime, with Wyoming Weddings and LKH Bridal & Formal of Laramie. “There are vendors who offer something for everyone, so even friends and family who come with brides can win things.” Vendors from local businesses and throughout the region bring something for everyone.
The fashion show is put on through LKH Bridal & Formal of Laramie which recently opened a second location in Casper to help better serve brides throughout the state. LKH Bridal & Formal of Laramie is a local bridal shop that provides rentals and purchases for bridal, bridesmaids, and tux and suits. LKH Bridal & Formal of Laramie opened in 2019 as a way to continue offering bridal services to Laramie when Mountain Valley Bridal closed. Brides will use the ticket with free registration. To register, go to wyomingbridalexpo.com and click on “bride registration.” There will be door prizes throughout the day to brides who register. There will be games for couples to compete in for more prizes as well as “vendor cash” and giveaways from vendors. “Vendor cash is a gift certificate for people to spend at vendors of their choice at the show.” states Hime. “In addition to the giveaways, every bride who attends the show receives a $100 gift credit to LKH Bridal & Formal of Laramie.”
The biggest bonus to this free event is getting to be in person with vendors that provide all types of wedding services. “Getting to talk to all the vendors rather than going through the internet helps to build personal connections between vendors and brides. Having the opportunity to mesh with vendors provides brides with the ability to find vendors they enjoy talking with to help make their day more enjoyable. Likewise, these vendors want to provide services to the Laramie area, so it’s important that the community support these events so Wyoming Weddings and LKH Bridal & Formal of Laramie can continue to offer high quality wedding services in our community.” states Hime. Stop by 2229 E Grand Ave and check out the amazing atmosphere, giveaways, and bridal excitement.
Wyoming Weddings is proud to be an inspiration, resource, and help to all brides right here in Wyoming. “We have everything from photography to venues to goodies and spa services,” said Hime. Wyoming Weddings has a magazine for more information on the Sweetheart Bridal Expo at Wyoming Weddings Magazine. “Our Wyoming Weddings Magazine is a resource for the entire state! We want to connect brides with vendors based in Wyoming or right outside its borders. We put out a printed guide annually, and we also have a vendor directory page on our website, wyomingweddings.com.” said Hime. Check them out on Facebook at Wyoming Weddings or head over to their page at wyoomingbridalexpo.com. Vendors looking to join in, send an inquiry to their email at wyolifestylemag@gmail.com.
