The Rock River Modern Band music program is set for exciting growth, thanks to the efforts of music teacher Marcus Stowe. With a generous grant from the Wyoming Community Foundation, Stowe will be able to expand the program and reach a wider range of students. The funds will go towards new equipment, enabling the program to accommodate more age groups.

Over the past five years, Stowe has worked tirelessly to build a dynamic Modern Band program that emphasizes contemporary music education using instruments like guitar, bass, drums, and piano. His innovative K-12 curriculum fosters creativity and incorporates culturally responsive teaching methods. With this new funding, he is confident the program will flourish, offering even more opportunities for students to explore their musical potential.
