Albany County School District #1 (ACSD#1) is inviting the public to participate in upcoming listening sessions aimed at reimagining a lab school or choice school for the district. These sessions offer a platform for community members to share their thoughts and ideas, ensuring that any potential changes reflect the values and needs of Albany County.

During the sessions, attendees will be asked to complete a series of written questions. The feedback collected will be analyzed by an impartial facilitator, ensuring that community voices are accurately represented in the decision-making process.

Two listening sessions are scheduled:

• October 14, 2024, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Laramie Middle School
• October 23, 2024, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Linford Elementary School

ACSD#1 encourages everyone to participate, regardless of whether they have students currently enrolled in the district. This is an opportunity for the entire community to help shape the future of education in Albany County.
