The City of Laramie said on it’s website, that it was proud to announce that Great Western Recreation has completed the Kiowa Park Playground restoration and that the playground is open and ready for use.

The playground completion was delayed due to an incorrectly fabricated part. That part has been received, installed and the playground has been inspected and is open for play.

This project was funded though the 2018 Specific Purpose Tax and a Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant. By combining these two funding sources our community was able to see this project completed for $.50 on the dollar.

The City of Laramie gave special thanks to Scott Hunter and Mike Malloy for their efforts ensuring the playground was installed correctly and safely. “We hope you enjoy this newly renovated amenity in our community!” The City of Laramie announcement said.
