The Eppson Center for Seniors is bringing back its popular Enchilada Fundraiser, running from May 5 to June 2, with pickup scheduled for Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Eppson Center, located at 1560 N 3rd St.
Three delicious flavors are available for purchase: beef and cheese, cheese and onion, and a house special featuring peas, onions, beef, potatoes, and cheese. Each dozen is priced at $30, making them a convenient and affordable option for freezer meals. Two enchiladas make a meal for just $5—less expensive and more nutritious than most fast-food options.
Orders can be placed in several ways:
- In-person at the 24/7 self-serve station in the south foyer (cash or check only).
- Online or at the front desk using a card (with an additional $1.25 service fee).
In addition to the sale, a raffle will be held throughout the fundraiser for a chance to win a dozen enchiladas. Raffle tickets are $1 each and can be purchased at the reception desk.
The Eppson Center is also seeking volunteers to assist with enchilada preparation from June 12-14. Those interested can sign up at the reception desk or on the Eppson Center website.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will directly support the center’s general operating costs, including essential services like daily lunches, transportation, and community activities for seniors in Albany County.
