The Haunted Basement returns Saturday, October 24, for its 12th year of Halloween scares! This year, a full-blown zombie apocalypse awaits, complete with creepy creatures, eerie shadows, and a chilling story of survivors who sought shelter, only to discover that the virus had already won.
This Laramie Halloween tradition first crept to life more than a decade ago, thanks to the devilishly creative crew at Landmark Property Management and a fearless band of dedicated volunteers. What began as a spooky passion project has become a beloved part of the community’s Halloween celebrations.
And the best part? It’s completely FREE! No tickets, no admission fees, just plenty of heart-pounding horror made possible by people who love bringing Halloween thrills to Laramie.
Located beneath Laramie Property Management at 121 E. Grand Ave., the Haunted Basement invites visitors to step into a world where the dead don’t stay dead and danger lurks around every corner. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a first-time visitor, prepare for an unforgettable encounter with the undead!
The basement opens Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and returns for more frights Saturday evening from 8 to 10:30 p.m.
For those looking for family-friendly Halloween fun, the excitement continues above ground with SCARAMIE, downtown Laramie’s beloved trick-or-treat tradition. From 10 a.m. to noon, families can show off their costumes, collect candy, explore local businesses, and celebrate the Halloween spirit that makes historic downtown so special.
