Albany County School District #1 to Hold Special Accreditation Meeting

The Board of Trustees of Albany County School District #1 will be hosting a special meeting on Friday, October 18, 2024, to present to the Wyoming Department of Education’s (WDE) Peer Review Team. The meeting will take place from 2:45 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Boardroom at the School Administration Office, located at 1948 Grand Avenue, Laramie.

The purpose of the meeting is to assist in the district’s accreditation review, a process used by the Wyoming Department of Education to ensure that the school district meets educational standards and provides quality education to students. Accreditation is an important measure of school performance and impacts a district’s funding, resources, and reputation.

During the session, the Board of Trustees will present information about the district’s achievements, goals, and compliance with educational standards. Members of the public are welcome to attend and observe the proceedings.
