Music lovers are in for a treat this fall as Bobcat, the legendary one-man band from New York, brings his unique blend of punk rock, psychobilly, and comedy to two local venues. Bobcat will be performing at The Ruffed Up Duck on Monday, October 28th, and The Great Untamed on Tuesday, November 12th.
Known for his high-energy performances, Bobcat’s music is a wild mix of punk rock meets The Beatles and psychobilly meets Motown, with a hefty dose of stand-up comedy sprinkled in. His shows promise a rollercoaster of genres, blending garage rock, rockabilly, punk rock, and Americana into a mind-blowing experience of rock ‘n’ roll and laughs.
These performances follow the release of Bobcat’s latest album, The Big Decide. His two-year tour, which spans the entire continental U.S., will see him hitting all 48 lower states, and his stop in Laramie is one of the few scheduled for Wyoming.
Both The Ruffed Up Duck and The Great Untamed are favorite music spots in Laramie, and locals can expect a packed house for these shows. Bobcat, also known as a founding member of The Arkhams, is no stranger to Laramie, and his return is highly anticipated.
If you’re a fan of genre-defying music and a lively show, mark your calendar for these two dates. With Bobcat’s explosive energy and unpredictable setlist, it’s sure to be an unforgettable night!
