On Wednesday, 21 April, Laramie Police Department Chief Dale Stalder presented officers Jacob Bury and Joseph Plante with life saving medals and Letters of Commendation were presented to officer Christopher Groh (serving as a dispatcher at the time of the incident), Stacey Gonzales and Laramie Fire Department ambulance crew Mike Nyquist, Craig Rumsey and Kevin Rice.
