In a thrilling celebration for avid readers and collectors alike, the Friends of the Albany County Public Library are set to host their much-anticipated Book Lovers book sale from Friday, February 9, to Monday, February 12, 2024.
Organized with meticulous precision, the sale promises a treasure trove for literature enthusiasts, offering an array of items neatly arranged on shelves, replicating the ambiance of a traditional bookstore. Genre-specific maps will be at visitors’ disposal to navigate through the diverse selection of books, vinyl, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks, electronic games, and more. The extensive collection includes a multitude of languages, as well as a captivating assortment of vintage books spanning various genres.
The basement of the Albany County Public Library, nestled at 310 S 8th St. on the corner of 8th Street and Grand Avenue, will host this literary extravaganza. The schedule for the sale is as follows:
- Friday, February 9: 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm (Members Only Sale*)
- Saturday, February 10: 10:00 am – 5:30 pm
- Sunday, February 11: 10:00 am – 5:30 pm
- Monday, February 12: 10:00 am – 5:30 pm (50% Off Day!)
*Exclusive access to the Friday sale is granted to members, and memberships can be acquired or renewed at the library circulation desk or by visiting friends.acplwy.org. Annual memberships are reasonably priced at $10 per person, $15 per household, or $50 for Benefactors. New memberships and renewals are also available for purchase on the day of the sale.
