Girls from Girl Scout Troop 1363 visited with officers from Laramie Police Department Sunday afternoon, to donate cookies. Troop Leaders Stephanie and Kaila had asked the girls in their troop who they thought were hometown heroes and who they’d like to donate cookies to. All the girls chose the Laramie Police Department.
Officers Smith, Bellman, Hutchinson and Greenawalt were all very excited to meet the Girl Scouts and gladly accept the donation, enthusiastically checking out what kinds of cookies were being donated and thanking everybody for coming down to see them. The Girls Scouts took home gift bags from the department.
Troop Leader Stephanie told us, “The girls wanted to help plan everything but didn’t know where to start, besides knowing they wanted to do the visit during a girl Scout meeting. Girl Scouts Leti-Anne, Krista, Haylee and Bryanna really enjoyed the visit and would like to do another visit and possibly have a tour”.
