The City of Laramie would like to thank Rocky Mountain Power’s Blue Sky program participants who support the installation of renewable energy, as well as Rocky Mountain Power’s Blue Sky program for choosing to fund these projects. Installation of the Laramie Community Recreation Center and the Ice & Event Center solar projects represent the City’s first major step toward carbon neutrality. These facilities were selected for the inaugural solar investment because of their impact toward the City’s municipal goal of net neutrality and for their ability to serve as an educational site for the thousands of guests visiting both facilities each year.
