Boys from Laramie Wrestling Club are going to compete in next weeks WAWA State Championship Tournament 2022 at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper.

“These boys started their season back in December and have spent countless hours in the wrestling room and on the road traveling to get to this point. They’ve pushed through difficult matches and found strengths they didn’t know they had. Now is their time to see that hard work manifest into greatness. As their coaches and parents, we couldn’t be more proud of them.” said Katie Nichols, parent and LWC Board Member.

The tournament takes place at Ford Wyoming Casper Events Center on Wednesday April 13th. Several sponsors have helped to send the boys to the State Championship: Nettie Bell-Newton, Trihydro Corporation, StagePoint Federal Credit Union, AC Photography, Moose Wag Supply LLC, Dean Clower Jr, John Abriola, Sam Brodie, Laramie GM Auto Center and UniWyo Credit Union.

AJ Trabing, parent and head coach, said, “The dedication to work as hard as they have this year is hard to describe in any other way than humbling! I hope that each individual can be as proud of their last tournament as I am of their entire season.”
