The eagerly anticipated “Freedom has a Birthday” extravaganza is gearing up to once again delight attendees in 2024, thanks to the generous backing of Rocky Mountain Power and the City of Laramie.

Scheduled for July 4th, 2024, from 10 am to 4 pm, “Freedom has a Birthday presented by Rocky Mountain Power” promises a day filled with family-friendly fun and excitement. Drawing in over 10,000 enthusiastic attendees annually, this alcohol-free event has become a beloved tradition in Laramie.

The festivities, marking the 32nd anniversary of “Freedom Has a Birthday,” will take place at Washington Park, offering a nostalgic “Old-Fashioned 4th of July Celebration for the Family.” With a plethora of activities catering to all ages, attendees can expect live music, engaging entertainment, delectable food options, and an array of retail vendors.

Expressing their enthusiasm for the event, Sharon Fain, Vice President for Wyoming at Rocky Mountain Power, remarked, “We appreciate the opportunity to once again support Laramie’s Freedom has a Birthday celebration. Rocky Mountain Power is honored to support our communities and specifically this event where we can all gather to celebrate our nation.”

For those interested in being a part of this grand celebration, registration is now open. Booths offering engaging activities for children are encouraged, with the Freedom Has a Birthday committee assigning locations based on the nature of the activity or product provided. Registration closes on June 26, with booth locations communicated to registrants by June 29.
