Relative Theatrics proudly presents the national premiere of “MISSION ABORT” by Therese Ramstedt, launching their 11th Season. From August 30th to September 2nd, the LPCC Gryphon Theatre will host this remarkable play, offering an immersive experience with on-stage seating.

Directed by and starring professional actor Francesca Mintowt-Czyz, a UW alumna, “MISSION ABORT” showcases the power of one-actor shows. Playwright Therese Ramstedt, raised in Sweden, is known for breaking stigmas and amplifying neglected perspectives. Her work’s honesty and humor shine in “MISSION ABORT,” an “important, bravura piece of theatrical magic.”

The UK premiere earned the play a 4-Star review from Edinburgh Festivals Magazine. Addressing the abortion taboo, the play urges society to openly discuss this crucial topic. With one in three uterus-havers in the UK and one in four globally choosing abortion, “MISSION ABORT” humanizes these decisions. Written in 2017, its humor and relevance remain potent.

Opening on August 31st at 7:30pm (seating at 7pm), performances continue on September 1st at 7:30pm and September 2nd at 2:00pm and 7:30pm. Shows are at the Gryphon Theatre, Laramie Plains Civic Center. A preview pay-what-you-can performance is on August 30th at 7:30pm.

On-stage seating is limited to 50 attendees per show. Tickets, enhancing accessibility, have three price points: $40, $25, and $15, available at www.RelativeTheatrics.com.

Supported by Albany County, City of Laramie Community Partner Funds, Wyoming Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts, and Wyoming Legislature.
