The inaugural talent show, “Pokes Got Talent,” hosted by the Wyoming Coalition Against Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (WCADVSA), promises an evening of entertainment and community support. This event, featuring talented individuals from Laramie, will take place on Friday, November 10, 2023, at The Lair (207 S. 3rd St).

This talent showcase will spotlight a diverse array of performers, including local musicians, dancers, comedians, magicians, poets, DJs, and more. All ages are invited to both participate and attend. To add an extra layer of excitement, prizes will be awarded to the top three acts based on the number of votes each act garners. The voting process allows attendees to cast multiple votes, so bring your friends along for this thrilling experience!

This event serves as a fundraiser for WCADVSA, which is dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. WCADVSA provides vital services, including advocacy, technical support, training for DVSA organizations across Wyoming, legal representation for survivors, transitional housing assistance, violence prevention, and advocacy for policies that empower survivors during each legislative session.
