In a celebration of love, Seek Yoga Studio, in collaboration with Audrey Jansen, invites couples to join a special partner yoga event aimed at fostering connection and strengthening bonds.
Taking place on Friday, February 16th, from 6:00 PM to 7:15 PM, this unique experience promises to bring couples closer through gentle and beginner-friendly partner yoga poses. No prior yoga experience is required, making it accessible to everyone. The event will be held at Seek Yoga Studio in Laramie, Wyoming.
We asked Audrey Jansen what inspired her to organize a partner yoga event focused on building connection and strengthening bonds? “One thing I have learned from being married for almost a decade is how important it is to make intentional time for one another. We are often so tired from life that the time we spend with the people most important to us isn’t very special or connecting. I wanted to offer an opportunity to share time together in a way that builds connection and strengthens the existing relationship because that makes all the difference in how it feels to be and stay together happily.”
Led by Audrey Jansen, an E-RYT 200, RYT 500, and accompanied by her husband, Chris Jansen, participants can expect a session filled with not just physical postures but also mindful and connection-building elements. The goal is to create an environment where couples can lovingly strengthen their bond with each other.
Another question for Audrey: How do you envision the participants benefiting from the combination of gentle partner yoga poses and mindful, connection-building elements during the session? “This is the 4th Valentine’s Day in a row that we have offered this special event for romantic partners and participants have shared over the years how special it felt for them. I see partners benefiting from the event in multiple ways. First, as they release tension from their bodies through gentle partner poses they become more relaxed and available to connect with one another. Second, they benefit from the connection of both loving touch and words of affirmation (two very common love languages). Lastly, they benefit from the feeling of truly just focusing all of their attention on the person they love most in this world without the distraction of TV, phones, chores, or anything else.”
The event has a limited capacity of 12 couples, so those interested are encouraged to secure their spot early. The investment is $38 per couple, and only one partner needs to sign up. To reserve a spot, visit this link.
