Snow on Halloween
It’s the first day of October, and that means it’s time to start celebrating Halloween! Unless you work retail, in which case you’ve been surrounded by Halloween for the last month or so. Bring on the pumpkin spice everything! I’m pulling out my Halloween playlist, which I’ll make my kids listen to every day until November 1st or until they learn all the words to This Is Halloween, whichever comes first.
When we first moved to Laramie, I was surprised by all the indoor trick-or-treating options, like at the Union at UW. Then I actually took my kids trick-or-treating and I realized why everyone else did their trick-or-treating inside. And why people advised me to buy Halloween costumes a size larger than needed—the better to fit a snowsuit under!
