This season’s opener will feature Courtney Hershey Bress, principal harpist of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra, performing Michael Daugherty’s “Harp of Ages,” a piece that includes everything from Irish jigs to the “Star Trek” theme. The program also includes Mozart’s lively “The Magic Flute” overture and Borodin’s Second Symphony, showcasing UWSO’s talented string and brass sections.
