Laramie audiences are in for a bold and immersive theatrical experience this winter as Relative Theatrics presents the Wyoming premiere of FEAST. by Megan Gogerty.
The production runs February 13–21, 2026, in the Phoenix Ballroom at the Laramie Plains Civic Center, in partnership with the Laramie Civic Center and ALCES Community Works.
What is FEAST.?
FEAST. is a provocative, immersive play that blends mythology, pop culture, and contemporary politics. The story centers on Agathae, an ancient magical creature disguised as a middle-aged woman, who invites the audience to a dinner party in an attempt to confront historical wrongs and seek reconciliation. Along the way, she discovers—much to her horror—that she may have unintentionally helped create the patriarchy.
Inspired by the epic tale of Beowulf, FEAST. reimagines the legend as a cautionary story about grief, power, and the rising forces of authoritarianism. Expect an experience that is visceral, thoughtful, and unlike traditional theatre.
An Experience You Take Part In
This production goes beyond watching a play. As part of the performance, a communal dish will be served to all audience members when doors open at 7:00 p.m., reinforcing the play’s themes of gathering, reflection, and shared humanity.
