The Laramie Community Recreation Center has announced its updated pool schedule, following recent renovations. With the completion of the Indoor Leisure Pool renovation project at the end of 2023, the aquatics center has expanded its offerings, including increased mid-day lap swim time and a dedicated slot for teens and younger users to enjoy the new play structure.

Aquatics Supervisor, Wendy Clubb, expressed excitement about the extended hours, stating, “We’re excited to be expanding the indoor pool hours to better accommodate our guests and community members.”

Reservations are no longer required for indoor pool use, and specific activities are designated for each pool, including lap swimming, swim lessons, and recreational swim. The hot tub, steam room, and dry sauna remain open during pool hours, except for the hot tub, which is closed for maintenance until further notice.

The center reminds members that the pools are closed to other activities during scheduled classes and lessons. Additionally, peak times, such as weekday evenings and weekends, may experience capacity limits.
