“We’re thrilled to be hosting Local Con for the third year running,” said Jennifer Ireland, event organizer. “Each year, the event gets better and better, and this year is no exception.”
But Local Con isn’t just about shopping for unique and handmade items; it’s also about enjoying delicious treats and supporting the community. Thanks to co-sponsors The Great Untamed and Insomnia Cookies, attendees can indulge in mouth-watering cookies and refreshing drinks as they explore the vendor fair.
Plus, there’s a special lemonade stand curated by two young entrepreneurs, offering a refreshing break from all the excitement. And tarot readings by Jennifer Ireland will add a touch of mysticism to the event.
“We want Local Con to be more than just a shopping experience,” explained Ireland. “It’s a chance for the community to come together, support local talent, and have a fantastic time.”
As part of the ‘Purely Laradise Experience,’ attendees can enjoy special discounts, including 10% off purchases for those in cosplay. And for those looking to give back, there will be a silent auction to help The Dragon & Phoenix expand their wings even further.
